Bladee, the luminary of Sweden's modern cloud rap scene, will perform at the Palladium Rīga concert hall on December 1. Bladee (real name Benjamin Reichwald) is a singer, rapper and DJ of the music group Drain Gang. In an interview, the artist himself admitted that "it is impossible to put the music he creates into a specific category, genre". In The Fader, music critic Jack Angel describes Bladee's sound as futuristic, highlighting his music's ability to offer a wide range of emotions. Collaborating with music stars like Skrillex, Charli XCX and Yung Lean, Bladee has established himself as one of the most talented young rappers in the music industry.
Born and raised in Sweden, Bladee started playing music at a young age. At the age of 13 alone, together with a classmate, now known by the stage name Ecco2k, created the punk band Krossad. In 2017, together with Thaiboy Digital, Bladee released the joint project “D&G” featuring artists such as Yung Lean and White Armor.
His latest album 'Cold Visions' continues to amaze listeners with his experimental production style and creative lyrics. The album, appreciated by both music critics and the most enthusiastic supporters, fully radiates the artist's creative vision and harsh, but very real outlook on life, openly talking about loneliness, depression and self-searching.
