After a ten-year hiatus, British singer, songwriter and producer Jamie Woon returns to the stage with a new album and a long-awaited concert tour. Tickets on sale from July 1 at 11.00 on the "Bilešu Serviss" network. Members of the Positivus Festival and the FBI Concert Club will be able to purchase tickets in advance from June 30 at 11.00 a.m.

Jamie Woon is one of the most unique British musicians, whose work organically intertwines soul music, R&B, electronica, folk and atmospheric elements of urban music. He gained wider recognition in 2010 with the single "Night Air", which was made in collaboration with the influential electronic music producer Burial. The combination of intimate vocals and pulsating electronics allowed the musician to develop a recognizable sound and rise to the forefront of British electronic soul.

Music has been present in Jamie's life since childhood. His mother is Scottish Celtic folk singer and studio vocalist Mae McKenna, who has collaborated with artists such as Michael Jackson, Kylie Minogue and Björk. As a child, Jamie Woon was fascinated by voice recording in his mother's studio. Later, studies at the legendary BRIT School in London, whose alumni include Amy Winehouse, Adele and Olivia Dean, helped develop his musical signature.

In 2011, the musician's debut album "Mirrorwriting" was released, which includes such favorite songs as "Night Air", "Lady Luck" and "Shoulda". The album reached number 15 in the UK Albums Chart, while the musician himself came fourth in the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll and was nominated for a MOBO Award for Best New Artist.

Four years later, he released his second album, Making Time, featuring live instruments, a warm rhythm section and sophisticated soulful arrangements. The album, which also includes the single 'Sharpness', was nominated for the 2016 Mercury Prize. After a hiatus of nearly ten years, the artist returned in 2025 with his third studio album, 3, 10, Why, When, which blends soul, R&B, pop and atmospheric electronica with stories of relationships, vulnerability and change.

At the concert in Riga, both the compositions of the latest album and the musician's best-known songs such as "Night Air", "Lady Luck" and "Sharpness" will be played. Listeners are in for a hypnotic and emotionally saturated evening, where Jamie Woon's velvety vocals will fill the room with an intimate, atmospheric mood.
