Mir first discovered the talent of the Scottish-Italian composer, musician and performer Lewis Capaldi in 2017, when his song Bruises gained 25 million listens on Spotify, setting a record for an independent artist. But everything could be different, because Louis's father had a vasectomy, so the boy's conception became a real miracle. Little Louis became interested in music at an early age: his passion for performances was born after he sang on stage for the first time at the age of 4, and at the age of 9 he began to learn to play the guitar, soon composing his first original songs.

After the stunning success of Bruises, a recording contract was instantly concluded, and Lewis Capaldi's path to the top of pop music seemed like a complete idyll from the outside. He became the first artist whose arena tour tickets were sold out even before the release of his debut album “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent”. Tickets for all concerts of the tour were sold out in a matter of minutes, and this historic achievement was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.

There is no doubt that Someone You Loved, the title single from the debut album, played a significant role in the world rise of Lewis Capaldi. The track reached the top of 29 countries, occupied the first place in Great Britain for seven weeks in a row, became the best-selling British single of 2019 and entered the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100 charts, cementing Capaldi's talent on both sides of the Atlantic. Hits Before You Go and Hold Me While You Wait further strengthened the album's success, making "Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent" the best-selling album in Great Britain and Ireland not only in 2019, but also in 2020.

Lewis Capaldi's second studio album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent (2023), with the singles Forget Me, Pointless and Wish You the Best, continued the success of his debut album, becoming the fastest-selling album in Great Britain. When asked by NME about the source of inspiration for songs, Lewis answered with irony: "I went out into the street, looked at the world and what was in it, and then wrote songs dedicated to it."

In 2023, Capaldi announced a temporary retirement from public life to focus on his emotional and physical health (the artist was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome). The break turned out to be useful - two years later, in the summer of 2025, Lewis Capaldi triumphantly returned to the stage of the Glastonbury festival, and also released the EP "Survive" in November. The main single of the album, Survive, in which the artist talks about his return and determination to continue what he started despite difficulties, became his sixth hit number 1 in the British chart.

The list of awards received or nominated for them includes the Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, Scottish Music Awards, Q Awards, MTW Music Awards and many others, which confirms his status as one of the most recognized artists of his generation both by critics and listeners.

However, his concerts are recognized as the most reliable evidence of the personality and skill of Lewis Capaldi. Since he performs songs from his heart, so touchingly that there is no doubt about his own experience, and he supplements them with comments full of frank self-irony, it is not surprising that thousands of people appreciate his extraordinary personality.

Having performed to sold-out arenas (the first tour was sold out in 1 second, even before the release of his debut album) and at major festivals, and previously also at the warm-up of such stars as Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Rag'n'Bone Man, Sam Smith, Milky Chance, Lewis Capaldi is now embarking on the most ambitious tour of his entire career, in which Vilnius will be the only stop in the entire Baltic region.
