Australian modern metalcore group Melrose Avenue, which has quickly broken out into the international heavy music scene, will visit the Palladium concert hall for the first time on February 19. From the first fans outside of their native Australia to sold out tours on several continents, the band has quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after heavy rock newcomers of the moment.

Despite the pandemic restrictions that prevented musicians from performing in front of the public for a long time earlier this decade, newly formed Australian quartet Melrose Avenue found their first large audience online. Skillfully using the possibilities of social media, the group in a short time attracted listeners far beyond the borders of Australia and in 2023 became one of the most watched music projects on the "TikTok" platform in Australia and New Zealand.

The band consists of lead vocalist and primary songwriter Vlado Saric, guitarist Mitch Black, drummer Jed McIntosh, and guitarist/vocalist Shawn Mayer. The quartet emphasizes that the rapid wave of success is not only the merit of four rock musicians dressed in black leather jackets - producers, fans and the team that helped Melrose Avenue's digital recognition in a real international movement also played an important role.

Melrose Avenue's sound combines the intensity of heavy guitar riffs, explosive energy and melodic vocal lines that make the band's songs easy to understand even outside the narrow confines of the metalcore genre. The melodically pure singing is sometimes replaced by a rap-like rhythm, but at the climax, Vlado Saric's voice acquires an alarming sharpness, which is one of the band's most recognizable weapons.

The band's songs contain references to groups such as Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire and Linkin Park, but Melrose Avenue does not repeat them, but uses them as a springboard for its contemporary, aggressive and anthemic signature. This is also confirmed by the interest of listeners on streaming platforms, where the group's compositions have reached more than 20 million listens in total.

In 2025, after their debut tour in Australia, the group went on their first tour to the USA, where they warmed up "Ice Nine Kills" and "The Word Alive" in twenty-six sold-out concerts. Their own sold-out shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix soon followed, while the UK and European tour sold out within 72 hours. In 2026, Melrose Avenue started their biggest tour to date in the USA - and next year they will bring this energy to Riga as well!
