After a break of more than a decade, Mobijs is again going on a concert tour, within the framework of which he will also perform in the Baltics - on August 6 at the Tartu Dziesmusvētku stage and on August 8 at the Vilnius Kalnu Park stage.
Starting as a punk rocker at an early age, later turning to DJing and rave, Moby became better known to the general public with the album Play (1999), which was highly appreciated by both critics and ordinary listeners and was ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. By combining electronic, blues and folk music, such pop music pearls as Honey, Porcelain, Flower, Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, Natural Blues, Bodyrock were created, which have now become classics.
Marking this landmark album of Moby's career and adding a bunch of his other hits including In This World, We Are All Made of Stars, Lift Me Up, In My Heart, Extreme Ways, Go, When It's Cold I'd Like To Die and more, we get a near perfect set list. Exactly what we can expect from Moby and his band. In addition, now with a slightly more modern polish of the arrangement.

Versatile musician, singer, composer, producer, director, writer, photographer, active blogger, ardent defender of animal and human rights, former DJ and activist of the rave movement - all this is Richard Melville Hall, aka Moby.
Born in New York in 1965, he started learning academic music (piano, guitar) and theory at the age of 9. In the 1980s, he was fascinated by punk rock, playing in various bands, and at the next stage he turned to DJing, but gradually he came to his own original music, the first known herald of which was the single Go in 1991. Since then, 22 studio albums of Moby have been released, and their total circulation has exceeded 20 million. Musically, they vary in quite a wide range from electronic, techno and ambient music, to rock and even punk rock. Usually Moby plays all or most of the album material himself.
A number of Moby's compositions have gained additional recognition thanks to cinema, such as the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio, the series "Borna" with Matt Damon or the Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies" with Pierce Brosnan.
In addition to composing his own music, Moby has produced or remixed records by well-known musicians such as David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, The Bestie Boys, Daft Punk, Public Enemy, and more.
Moby's musical compositions have received or been nominated for such prestigious awards as Grammy, Billboard Music Awards, Brit Awards, MTV, NME, etc.
Moby is also the author of 4 books, including "Porcelain: A Memoir" (2016) and "Then It Fell Apart" (2019).
At the same time, he is and remains completely ordinary and unadulterated. Instead of limousines, bodyguards and other ostentatiousness, Moby is happy to talk to the visitors of his New York and Los Angeles cafes, or participate in various actions of animal advocates. He bequeaths a significant part of his income to charity, sometimes even joking about it: "I'm the only middle-aged idiot who goes on a concert tour to lose money."
