On February 27, the Italian acoustic guitar virtuoso Luka Stricagnoli will perform in the "Spīdola" concert hall in the VEF quarter.

Luca was born in Varese, northern Italy. He started taking guitar lessons from the age of 10. Over time, he became more and more interested in non-traditional guitar playing techniques - he experimented a lot with the instrument and tried combining it with other instruments. Luka quickly became successful and was noticed. He won various shows showcasing young talent, but at the age of 22 he became one of the first young Italian guitarists to be noticed by the well-known American guitar label "CandyRat Records".

A real breakthrough happened in February 2015, when Luka released his version of the famous AC/DC hit "Thunderstruck". Already after a month, the young guitarist received offers from all over the world. In September 2015, Luka went on his first UK tour and became the most talked about guitarist at the London Acoustic Guitar Show.

In October, his first album was released, which was immediately sold in large quantities all over the world. Luka ended 2015 with a concert tour in Germany, and in 2016 he conquered China and Scandinavia. After that, the musician successfully performed his shows in the USA and Canada.

He is the only one in the world who can play 2, 3 and even 5 guitars at the same time. He also uses his legs during the game. The legendary Stanley Jordan (4 Grammy nominations) has said that Luca has expanded the genre of fingerstyle to fingerfootstyle.

In Riga, the musician will present a new show as part of his European concert tour "High Voltage". Tickets are available at the box office and Ticketbest.
