The organizers of the Riga Fashion Week have presented the image of the autumn RIGA FASHION WEEK, which will take place in the second half of October. This season, the digital avatars have been replaced by a live model incarnated in an extravagant character.

The style was developed by the well-known Latvian stylist and fashion expert Sergejs Hatanzejskis.

"After several seasons, I was happy to return to RIGA FASHION WEEK image creation together with a completely new team. Our goal was to create a fresh, bold and sometimes provocative image that literally comes to life in the frame - the dynamics of movement are felt in every moment, the hair rises in the air, emphasizing the energy and character of the image.

For the photo shoot, we chose a model from the agency Moon Models - Valeria Lochmeli - an absolutely new face and a true rising star of the fashion world, who perfectly expresses the character's mood and bold character.

A special place in the project was reserved for Tribal Hotel outfits - bold, current and unusual, they helped to create a bright, dynamic and lasting image for the upcoming fashion week."

The conceptual basis of the image was inspired by the interplay of light and concrete in the works of sculptor Rachel Whiteread. "During the image development process, I wanted to combine contrasts: cool, silky blue tones in combination with a deep burgundy varnish create a tension that symbolizes the inner dynamics of the new season," comments Tribal Hotel designer Simona Weiland.

This expressive image is a visual manifesto that demonstrates courage, energy and invites you not to be afraid of contrasts, to open a new page for yourself in the upcoming RFW.

"In my opinion, the final photo frame embodies lightness, energy. The image as if 'screams' about the fact that style is when you can choose and determine trends yourself, instead of blindly following dictated directions," adds image photographer Dmitriys Pomerantsev.

Make-up artist Santa Rundzāne and post-processing specialist Yuliya Grafejeva also worked on the image.
