Already on Thursday, July 10, British trip hop legends - the group Morcheeba - will perform in the "Dzintari" concert hall. Founded in London and pioneers of trip-hop and downtempo, the trio combines lounge rhythms, blues vibes and, of course, the hypnotic voice of Skye Edwards. Their music is the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening by the sea.
Over the course of three decades, the group has released 11 studio albums, sold more than 10 million copies, toured around the world and cemented their status as trip-hop icons. In May 2025, the legendary British trio released their new studio album Escape the Chaos – a true musical pearl, celebrating the group's 30th anniversary.
The new album not only highlights Morcheeba's unique style, but also reaffirms the group's status as trip-hop kings. Escape The Chaos is a 12-song journey in search of harmony in the midst of chaos, created in a warm atmosphere of family and friendly support. It combines the sophisticated sound of live instruments, electronic sounds and Skaya's unique velvety vocals.
